VDL-5 authors convert Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) Technical Manuals (TMs) and information from Technical Data Packages (TDPs) into military specification compliant Electronic Technical manuals (ETMs). The VDL-5 technical writing team has project experience in creating documentation per MIL-STD-40051, and MIL-STD-37874.
The technical content is analyzed during project planning to map the content to the appropriate sections in the specification. The technical writing team also works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to fill in the missing sections required for the manuals.
VDL-5 can also create Instructor Led Training (ILT) and Computer Based Training (CBT) based on the technical manuals.
